I'm going to try and get back into making lil comic strips. Expect at least one comic a month, maybe two if we're lucky.

I ain't dead yet, I promise. I just haven't had the motivation to draw anything for a while. whenever I did draw something, it was either a shitty doodle or just nothing too significant. Either way, I think I'm at the butt end of this shit. I finally got something cool-ish done for an upcoming collab, but no spoilers yet. >:)

Until then, here's some small stuff I did during my lil hiatus:

Anywho, I hope you all enjoy the rest of the year. This year wasn't too bad. Not as eventful project-wise, but all in all, still pretty good. I have some fun plans for next year though...

Earlier this week, we got to 200 followers! I can't stress enough how thankful I am for your support! I have something pretty cool in the works to celebrate (WIP below), which will hopefully be done by the end of next week. Until then, how about we do a lil AMA? GLITCHX2023 aired last night, and I stayed for the whole 4-1/2 hours. It was worth every minute! It was really cool to see such an awesome cast of animators and voice actors talking about their shows and indie animation as a whole. They also got SaberSpark to run a game show with the VAs, which I thought was pretty cool. If you haven't watched the stream yet, I highly recommend it!

Props to Kevin and Luke at Glitch Productions for hosting this awesome event and helping to bring original creator-driven series into the spotlight!

Happy Halloween, and welcome once more to the Thompsonville Tribune! Not much in terms of updates, but there are still a few things I do wanna talk about.

New Project: Meet the Legion!

With Inktober and other fun drawing challenges going on this month, I decided to do a challenge of my own. So, I threw a bunch of different monsters onto a wheel, and spun away! Whatever I landed on I had to draw.

This turned out to be a great way to improve on some species and revamp older designs. I only got through 11 Hollows this month, but I intend on drawing the rest in a second part!

Characters & Concepts

I finally got a binder together and started writing concepts for the series. That way I'll be able to look back and certain ideas and improve upon them. I don't have much yet but that's gonna change soon enough. Every open opportunity I have, I'm gonna spill as many ideas on paper as I can.

Sweet 16 Comic Contest

@KittyMowhawkMontrose started a comic contest back in September, and I've been contemplating whether or not I should join. Knowing me, I probably won't get it done by the deadline, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't try. I already have an idea for the comic. Just gotta get it all on paper and get to drawing!

Close to 200 Fans!

As of writing, I'm at 187 fans, which is a lot more than I expected. So I just wanted to thank you guys for finding my crappy art not so crappy. To celebrate, I plan to remaster an oldish drawing. I'll make it more like a cinematic movie poster. I might also do an AMA or something, who knows...

Yeah sorry about that. Time kinda flew from me a bit. But don't worry, cuz I'm coming back with a vengeance! And a more relaxed schedule. From here on, the tribune will be released every other month.

Calling All Heroes!

A kick-ass trading card collab, starring heroes and villains created by various artists! The plan is to get some cards for Season 1 done by August 31st and then get physical cards printed off. Website Overhaul

The website is still underway and is mostly finished! Its current features include:

• Comics page (shown above)
• About page, with basic synopsis of the series
• Galleries (Portfolio & FanArt)

The site still requires:

• Mobile Compatability
• SEO settings
• New banner & background
• Some more graphics

ETA on the site completion is still unknown. I don't want to make anything set in stone yet, cuz we all know how I am with deadlines on my own projects...

Hollow Grounds Thread exceeds 1,000 views!!!

I checked the Hollow Grounds art thread yesterday, and saw it just reached over 1,000 views! Thanks to everyone who gave this lil side project a look-see and special thanks to those who gave me their awesome requests! Speaking of which, requests are still open if you wanna send me one. I still got 2 left to finish up. After that, if things are slow, I'll prolly do some fanart of people's characters. I already got a few cool ones in mind...

Other Projects

The Hunter's Handbook

The Handbook is (of course) still in the works. No ETA yet. I already have a page set up for it on the website, so once that's finished, you'll be able to read the pages I do have done.

Def Refs

I'm also working on more definitive reference sheets for my main characters (Mason, Rogers, Damascus, and Vortox). Each sheet will have 3 different parts: An overview, a turn-around, and a doodle dump. You can find these sheets as I complete them on my ref sheet playlist.

Comic Strip Remasters

2 years ago, I made my first Hollow Hunters comic strip. This year, I'll be giving it a fresh coat of paint! The rest of the comic strips will soon follow suit.
